Work Work, and more Work

Well it was about 50deg and sunny here today so I told the boss to F-off and headed out on the cross bike…….Have I told you how much I love riding my cross bike? Well, I do…


Then it was work, work work…….I’m trying to get production moving on “MrBigg” I’m knee deep into the first run and should have the first block finished by the end of the week. Just need to get the art work back and I can start to ship……”You got to be on ONE to be ONE” says Mr.Bigg…..


So, the sparks are flying here at Mitch Man Enterprises.

So the way things are shaking out I’ll have 29er wheelset’s available along with the “MrBigg” framesets. Once I get a little time from fun I’ll have a full list of Crap available. But the frames will be a little under 4 bills. That includes Frame and Fork…Now that’s a deal! It might even include some free stuff...


Like I said, just needs the art work.........what a 4130 Cro-Mo steel brute.

Well it was just a small storm....

Makes for an epic ski day.......The dog gave up and went back to the car and slept...

But the snow was too sweet to pass up.....I did 30k no the XC skis Saturday so my legs were shit but it was one of those days when you just can't stop....

You know it a good storm when there are 3 foot blocks of snow a top the trees....

Well rest now, I've got to get back to the coal mines on Monday....Like 8:00am, well maybe 9:00 or 10:00 but it could be 11:00, or if it keeps snowing it might be Tuesday!

No real news at Mitch Man Enterprises, P1 (Mr. Bigg) has been tested and approved by engineering. So production has started. I’ve got the first batch of frames underway (2-16” and 2-18”. It’s been a tough getting any work done b/c the snow is flying and a guy has to have his priorities. The 6” rule is infect even if the A-hole doesn’t like it……

Work Sucks

Well it’s a skating day…..I got a sweet new Solomon Boot and binding setup for my Fischer Nordic stuff. So, I’m heading out to giv’m a try. Their super trick and should make the Kick super fast. I called in sick for work today……

Tak'ner South.......

Well it’s like never ending snow here and the out-look is for more snow……..Thats the good news. The bad news is (and I thought I never say this) I need to warm my bones in the sun. I’m going to pack’r up and head over to Gateway this weekend and ride. Now why would a guy go ride this weekend with all this snow to ski you ask. Well I signed up to do the VOS (Valley Of Sun) staged race. This means two things, well maybe three or more. But I need to put some miles on my legs. Two I need to finish the TT bike. The project I was hoping to put on hold until May. Three put some miles on my legs. Four test ride “P1”. Five put some miles on my legs. Six get some really work done LOL.

I’ve got like a month to get it together but one way or another I’ll Get’r’done……but I'm looking forward to putting the Hammer Down........

Working Man......

You ask “what has Mitch Man been working so hard on lately?” Its has been like a bunch of Kebbler Elf’s running around in a tree here at Mitch Man Enterprises. Trying to finish “P1” that’s code for Proto-Type No.1. “What? Proto-type” Yes, proto-type! It’s a 29er frame, Hot Sweet, Dark and Sexy. I’ve got it to a 2nd coat of "Back-in-Black" today Just need to put another color coat, sticker kit, clear coat on it. It's really out done my expectations. Can't wait to build it and take a test ride. Still need to build up a set of wheels for it. The hubs should show up today so I’ll get that done tomorrow (Yes, tomorrow it snow last night and I went to Aspen today, work can NEVER get in the way) If it rides 1/2 as nice as it looks it’ll be so sweet……

Making the frame wasn’t too hard. All the tooling and jigs are what took the most time. Plus getting the cubic setup (Welding Set Up)…but once that was complete that actual frame only took a couple of hours to cut and glue together….For you true Bike geeks this isn’t for you. No Lugs, No Prefect Paint, No High Tech Tube. Just a good solid bike. Check it! With no brake tabs or BS on it the lines are very clean






It’s made from 4130 Cr-Mo, the front tri-angle is TIG welded along with the tubes at the Bottom Bracket.

I didn’t make the Fork, right now I buy them so cheap it would cost more to build. The Seat stays and the rear dropouts are silver brazed. I had the Dropout water jet cut and they are very beefy…..So as you can see just a nice clean bike. Built the way I like it…..No BS!

The welds aren’t Waterford, but not to bad……It’s not a piece of art its a bike dam-it!

More info to come. I plan to build and sell them after I get the proto-type tested. But it will be a 29er 1x1 disc only frame. By this fall I’ll also have a Cross’r available too. I’ve toyed with some different ideas but that will be an Alum 7000 frame. 1x1 only of course (But it will have brake boss. F’n “UCI”)

I Love Cross......

A couple of year “The Tool” told me about this dumb sport called Cyclo-cross. It sounded retarded to me but it was something to do in the fall. He hooked me up with this Conv’d Shwinn frame and off I went home to build this monster out of old junk I had in a box. It kicked my ass, but I loved it and now it's my favorite bike to ride….I think last year I’ve book’d more miles on it then any other bike.

My New Sport

You got to love this guy's Well the Olympic are right around the corner…..I can’t wait for the 24 hour coverage of figure skating. Why are the gayest sports the ones to gets the most airtime? Plus it's a far, far stretch to call it a SPORT. But thats another rant……..and one I don’t have time for, got to get back to work. But I will say anything that is judged isn’t not a sport. That’s why I can’t stand the X-Games. Here my Olympic production. The Man, King “B” Miller will not be on the ski team come Olympic time… I think he’s going to tell them to "Go to Hell" and race as an independent just like the Killer from Minn. (Kristina Koznick). He’s been on the brink telling them “GO F$%^ YOURSELF” for a long time now and the most resent thing may be the straw that breaks it……it would be great! THe USSA is more F’d up then NORBA.

Work. work, work.....

Man life sucks when you have to work…..I had to book like 2 hours of hard labor today, along with 12 for last week. It's almost like I got a job. But all my hard work is not for not (see I can still talk Wisconsin). We at Mitch Man enterprises are hard at work scheming how to over-throw the status quote. There’s been lots of cutting, grinding, drilling, welding and gluing happ’n along with a lot of Duct-Taping. With all this hard work going on it’s hard for me to get in my Blog up-dates. It cut’s into my skiing, biking and TV time.

Was able to log some good riding this week-end even if I stack’r up twice on the ice. If I head up “Red Canyon” with the cross bike you can ride till your little heart is content…But man can’t live by biking alone…….So, I must take a break from this merciless machine and going skiing. All this work is making me tired. I thinking I need to get an “Illegal” to do all this work. That way I can get back to do what I do best!

I've been busy

Here at Mitch Man enterprises we’ve been busy……and guess what? It’s actual work! I know it’s hard to believe but I’ve had the nose to the grind stone. OK, maybe not like rock pit style work but work none the less. This is all on the “Down-Low” maybe next week will have a launch of something big like “Mr Bigg”

All this work has me tie-tie…..I need a nap!
