Doc Ride

The CO version of this ride is a little different then the Wisco ride. First it’s not a road ride second at the end of the ride there’s a killer single track descent through a grave yard. Why is it called the Doc Ride? B/c it’s the grave yard where Doc Holiday is planted. One of the many famous Glenwood Springer’s……I’ve yet to clean the descent, but the plus is I didn’t stack it like normal. Just dabbed a foot this time and no blood.
Cars all pack’d and the bikes are loaded……I’m heading to the Front Range today for the Deer Trail RR and the Boulder Beer race! I’m hoping this weekend racing go’s better then last. Maybe I can find a little inspiration from C Horner……How about it!

Hi Girls!

Well I was taking a lot of crap for my resent purchase of a new “Race Wagon” people calling me a tree hugger, sellout and alike. So I’ve upgraded to a more rugged unit. This one is full of intimidation. When people see this Bad Boy com’n mothers pull their babies close and young girl run screaming. Now this is one Bad Ass machine! No more dancing around, this one screams “A full on frontal assault in coming”

Dry Park

Got to do one of my Fav rides last night....The high country is clearing out so Dry Pack was on tap.

Get along littl'doggy....there's nothing like bike in the open range. I almost hit one of those big boys in last sat. race.

Don't you wish you could be a Gang'sta?

Can't Touch This!

My new fav Blog!

Mod's a com'n

Today I'm happy happy happy to be alive..... Not that I'm never happy to, B/C every day is a good day. It's just some days are really good. Last night Sandy and I were almost hit by a rock slide riding through the canyon on our trek back from Vail. It was an amazing sight. From the load CRACK 500’ above on the canyon wall to the 50’ wall of rocks that miss us by a few feet.

On another note, I’m putting a new finish on “Mr. Bigg” along with additional brake cable brackets…..

Drop Kick

Aaaaa! the first Vail ride of the season! I love pack’n it up to the Starbucks in Vail to watch all the good look’n people walk by….At least 85% of the Chic’s here have had some type of enchantment done (not that there anything wrong with that) in fact I met a Cardiologist that gave up his practice b/c there was more to be made in plastic…

Last night I put new struts and spring on my Mex’y Car. Now it’s semi-slam’d with a 1.5” drop. I’m also going to get a Big “F-n” amp and some 18” sub’s…..

Well another espresso to go and then it’s back to the Canyon….

How was your earth day?

Ok so maybe it’s not my race wagon but my training wagon! You could never put all the gear needed for a race in this lil’mex’y slot car……..but on the plus side it’s not a rice’r

So the Ford still remains the “Race Wagon”

Race recap! Well something’s went well others didn’t. My climbing is coming around but the endurance isn’t and the head is totally wack’d. There were five big climbs (of a 1400 plus each) in the RR and I managed to make the break on the first one, gaped on the third and chase back in and then went “mental” on the forth. For some reason after punching tickets at the back of the group over the forth climb and up this 6 mile false flat I came unglued. There were only 8 in the group and we were working well up to the high point when I saw this group of 20 or so riders up the road. My oxygen staved brain processed that it was my group. But in fact it was another category. I kept thinking I’m never going to catch on their too far ahead. So with only about 10 miles of racing left and a top ten finish in hand what do I do? Stop racing of course….WTF was I thinking….I stopped right there pulled out my drink and ate a bar. 15 minutes later my wits started coming back and I put everything back together as the main group passed me sitting on the side of the road like a lump…….DUH! I guess you should never give up. Instead of 10th I finished something like 70th. The worse part was trying to explain what happen back at the car. Sandy stomped the women’s field so there not a whole lot to tell other then she hammered over the first big climb with another girl and never look back. The team TT was a gas two the guys on my team puked but a somewhere we took a wrong turn and got DQ’d. I’ve got some great pic’s of Sandy’s team. They were like team Disco beating most of the men’s team……..
The Cirt was another MM disaster which I may go into detail late most likely I’d like to forget this weekend and look forward to the DT road race this weekend……out.
