First off, you know you're coming up on a bike path racer when you see the any of the following:

1. World Champ socks
2. Creaky gears/etc
3. Downtube shifters
4. Any euro-team kit or
5. Any combination of the above.

I ever respond or take the challenge of ANYone on the bike path...EVER. This is an oath I took when I started racing...all racers take it. Anyway...

The first guy that wanted to rumble pulled up with #'s 1-3 on an older Euro bike. It was within the first 10 minutes of my ride. He gave me the bikepathlete glare...you know...when they pull up along side you so, look over at you as if to say, "Oh...you think because you are the shit? watch this buddy... So, as soon as this guys sprinted around me, I figured I was safe for the rest of the ride. Pathletes love rumble.

So I'm cruising along all of a sudden, this guy in a full Saturn/Timex kit down to the freaking shoe covers comes up along side me, kinda passes me, does a full "over the shoulder taunt", then gets out of the saddle and attacks. He rides to the top of this little rise and absolutley BLOWS UP...classic. I hear him weasing as I slowly roll by, and smile to myself.

I love the bike path……

this weekend? Well my bro from Wisco did the 24/9 championships.......which I did from Colorado. But all I did was hit the re-fresh button on the real time lap counter. Man it was a long night.......

The only problem, Goat tuned into Beavis sometime around 3:00am....

So I've been on my 2009 Tarmac for a couple weeks now and I must give it two thumbs up.......plus under 15lb. Got to love it!
It's been three dig-it's here for the last week but up high it all way cool.......sweat you ass off on the way up then put the jacket it on......NICE!

So I'm here listening to seventies and eighties music on the YouTube, astonished by how much more it has to it than todays garbage...
I ask??How is it possible for people twenty or thirty years ago to make far superior music utilizing 'inferior' instruments and technology? There has to be a missing factor, something that today's droning boredoms lack, or something that is intentionally removed by record executives... My guess is that missing factor is --... My god, what has happened to us? Kelly Clarksen, "Fiddy Cent", or that annoying weiner Clay Aitken!

some people like to go down the "Full Enchilada" because it's like 27miles and drops 7000 ft..(Burro Pass, Hazard, Kokopelli, Porcupine Singletrack, and Porcupine Rim) I like to go up it......
