Hit -it -Hard

First off, you know you're coming up on a bike path racer when you see the any of the following:

1. World Champ socks
2. Creaky gears/etc
3. Downtube shifters
4. Any euro-team kit or
5. Any combination of the above.

I ever respond or take the challenge of ANYone on the bike path...EVER. This is an oath I took when I started racing...all racers take it. Anyway...

The first guy that wanted to rumble pulled up with #'s 1-3 on an older Euro bike. It was within the first 10 minutes of my ride. He gave me the bikepathlete glare...you know...when they pull up along side you so, look over at you as if to say, "Oh...you think because you are the shit? watch this buddy... So, as soon as this guys sprinted around me, I figured I was safe for the rest of the ride. Pathletes love rumble.

So I'm cruising along all of a sudden, this guy in a full Saturn/Timex kit down to the freaking shoe covers comes up along side me, kinda passes me, does a full "over the shoulder taunt", then gets out of the saddle and attacks. He rides to the top of this little rise and absolutley BLOWS UP...classic. I hear him weasing as I slowly roll by, and smile to myself.

I love the bike path……

Victim number one, “the Baconator” after viewing all the warning signs in-store. I was going to go for the traditional Wendy’s “Single”. But at a measly 430 calories this quest was not even close enough. I was in a calorie crazed state……
Now Classic Triple with cheese AND bacon. Was the champ at 980 cal’s……It sure made me happy.
But it was just lacking something…..What was that you ask!!! MORE BACON!!!!Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you with… THE BACONATOR! Now, as one would expect, this burger was far from the picture. Both in flavor and quality. Just take a look at it again. I’ll give you a moment to take in its 830 calorie glory. This is a magical meal in all of its greasy goodness. Coupled with fries and of course a DEIT Coke (who needs the extra Cal’s???) and you are lay’n down a cool 1370 (90% of my daily, but sometimes you got to have what you got to have)……..NICE!!!

It’s very EZ…….Calories in should be less than the Calories out. You can’t eat 6000 Calc’s a day sit on your Ass and get skinny!

Keep the streets safe!!! The of day I was kill'n time drink coffee outside the "Bike Hub" Eves dropping on these two goobers……..and you’d of filp’d! This Cop was complaining to his buddy the city Ranger about how hard he works. The Ranger agreed, and followed with how hard his job is!!!! Com’on!!! They work in ASPEN, my God…….How hard could it be??? One walks up and down the street rousting Rich Old Ladies, writes some parking tickets and gets drunk tourists back to their condo! The other; I’ve got no idea, what the hell would a F’n Range would do all day in Aspen? Maybe shoo Raccoons out of the park trash cans? Ether way these two Bozos work in Aspen Christ all mighty! I can think of an easier place to work!
