I ride a 29er and now it matches my waist……Its now fun to climb. I went out and rode the Monument Saturday it was the first test of the year. Instead of suffering off the back I was riding comfy at the front and putting the hurt on from time to time. Cant wait to put it to test in a race……….

So Page kick ass this weekend…Three silver at the worlds! I think in the next year or two the USA will dominate cross just like The Tour……

I’m all jack-up with no place to go………Butch’y been in town riding his ass off and I’ve been seating on it but tomorrow I’m on! The weather is breaking and this guy a itch’n to ride! Now that I’m a buck and a half the cold goes right through me. But that’s ok b/c I hate the cold now I just have another reason NOT to go out into it. With the VOS race coming quick it will be nice to get some more core miles.

Well with a lot of time to do nothing I’ve been thinking about heading back to school again……yes a again! I was toying with the idea of get my teaching certificate or a PhD…..molding little mind of mush. Plus now that I’ve turn into a lefty I think being a Prof is right up my ally and tweed is soooo sexy! I’d be the highest educated bad speller in the world. Plus I'd be able to take up smoking dope again with out guilt……Now were talk’n! But tomorrow’s another day and it will be some other thing “I have to do” and I’ll end up doing nothing but lay on the couch….You’d think I never gave up smok’n dope……I often wonder what I’m going to do when I retire…..Don’t you? Well back to my coffee and deep thoughts ON THE COUCH!

So yesterday I spend the day at a friends “Topping Out” party. It’s pretty sweet to be liv’n large like this guy. He’s on Red Mountain across the Valley from Aspen with a strait away shot Aspen Mountain and up Valley. Just a small place of 15 square… Price? Who knows but I can’t wait for the Hot Tub party. I think Funk Master “P” and the boyz are coming……… And I think she's coming too....and If she's coming I'am Too.....

Back to work.....well my kind of work!

Well I sneezed for the first time yesterday. Now I won’t say it was like the day I hit the tree but it did take about 10min.s to get my shit back together………I’m all jack up because I got out and did a couple of turns in the back bowls today and hung out at the Starbucks in “Happy Valley”. Tomorrow I’m back on the seat post…Got to start those base miles soon (whatever they are, it’s just fun to ride). There’s nothing like skiing, biking or sex to put a smile on my face. If only I could find a way to do all three for a triple orgasm!
I’m turning into a fly-weight. The weight is just fallen off this year. I haven’t been near this weight since HS. It’s pretty funny because most of my adult life I was always trying to put it on and build muscle for ski racing. Hanging out in the gym doing two-a-days and all that. I laughed at all these little wimpy light weights. The past few years have been an eye opener. If I’m ever going to be a half-assed climber the muscle and fat have to go (at this point 25% of my body mass) No more flexing at the beach for me……..
