Whats the deal?

Is Vino in or out…It would be a shame if he is out. Not because he’s a great rider but he’s the only rider with enough balls to attack LA even when he was out gun'd.

Speaking of balls, I finely got my Up-grade. No thanks to USA cycling. They can kiss my sweaty nuggets. Its no wonder they can’t put on a race in they’re home state. Not only are they about as smart as a sack of wet nice. But they are arrogant as hell. My CO rep is a small dick. Cat no.1 ride here I come….

And we closed the deal on the future home of MM cycles. It’s a sweet mountain side ranch. I can now say I own a mountain, well maybe a half a mountain. Check it out….

Riding that Aluminum Ridged?

Good Luck with that.......Why would any ridged SS not run sweet steel? BC they don't like thier front teeth.....

We need better dope....

What the heck happen up in France? I Mean Canada…..We need better go fast doping doctors. Those Ero’s just kick our butt every time. You’d think LA would help a brother countryman out with the good stuff.

Extreme?

So have you hear of the “Next” retarded extreme (I will add, if the adjective “Extreme” is added to anything it’s by definition retarded) thing to do? Freeflow Urban running, or Parkour. These dorks call themselves athletes and have teams. Lets see they run around in the cities jumping off walls and buildings. Kind of sounds like a Rat to me……now if they'd only try to cross I-70 like some kind of really Frogger Game. Now that would be extreme!

O-yea, it's a love fest...

Giuseppe Guerini (36/Italy),
Serguei Gonchar (35/Ukraine)
Matthias Kessler (27/Germany)
Andreas Klöden (30/ Germany),
Eddy Mazzoleni (32/Italy)
Michael Rogers (26/Australia)
Patrik Sinkewitz (25/ Germany)
Oscar Sevilla (30/Spain)
Jan Ullrich (32/ Germany).

A taste that can’t be beat……Jan will not be beat by that Gay Boy from CSC. Discovery no way too weak and Floyd can’t do it alone. That why the Big German will jack boot all over the Tour.

Tips-O-tip

Mitch Mans race tips of the Week

1) Never apply Tiger Balm to you legs before applying shammy butter. Unless you like numb junk.
2) Never leave home without your 11. You can Live without your Visa but you’ll die with out the 11.
3) There’s no such thing as a “Neutral Feed” zone. If you get a feed you’ll be dropped like a 2 foot putt. Some jack-off will attack.

What it's take?

Beer and Bacon….

That’s all it takes for me to get on the steps. It was a race the Baron would have been proud to enter. I had one of my best finishes of the year today. It was a four man breaker and a sprint finish. I had it; I had it but bungled the last 20 meters and ended up third. Still good for a pound of Bacon and Beer…….But the Saturday was the really killer. An 84 mile RR and everybody knows how much I love RR’s. It starts out like most Races around here. 109 guy standing on the line with a pocket full of Goo all chomping at the bit. I got a great starting spot, like 99 but really doesn’t make too much differences with all those miles. Sat on wheels and move up, sat on more wheels and moved up. Made a move and went on a 45 miles solo attack. At one point I really thought I could hold it B/C they were gone. But low and behold with about 2o to go I could see them and a 15 I was got. But I still hammerd it home for 13th. So not a bad weekend…..Sleep now, Beer and Bacon Later.

Anyboy else

getting into this world cup thing like me.....

Go USA!

My Man com'n to life.....

Well, well…..Fat Boy Slim, The Germen General is riding himself on to the GC list at the Tour de Suisse. It’s nice to see the Fat Man turn’n the screws. Maybe he’ll come ready for the big race.
Now that’s the “Game Face” of old!

And would someone please get Rasmussen (the human skeleton) a sandwich! The guy can’t ride 10min.s with out one…. Another nightmare for him. Do you think he’s been working on his TT skills?
On another note: The other night I was welding up a frame in the shop and look up to find a 400ld brown bear staring me down like Ham and Cheese sandwich. It’s a good thing I had the torch in my hand…..

O-yea I’ve go a big bitch with USA cycling but it’s just pisses me off and all this talk of food has made me hungry. Time for a brownie and espresso!

Race the train

Last night I raced the 7:00 coal train out of the canyon......

O-yes, Yo-Toy my fav domestic team…..

Not to go back on an old story but, Saturday I woke up early and didn't have much to do so I loaded up Mr Bigg and headed over the pass to Buena Vista for the Chalk Creek Stampede. Now with a name like "Chalk Creek" you’d think I’d know what I was up against. Dust, Dust and more dust…..I was in my normal mode showed up, had to talk my way into the race b/c registration had closed, dressed, lined up and raced. I barely had time to drop my cooler at the "Mitch Man" feed zone. Notes for next race. Change gear, my current is way too small. Put air in tires, the last time I added a psi Goat was here. Tighten seat, by the second lap it was falling off every mile and carry a multi-tool. The temp was hot, hot, hot…..The first lap was great, sitting third wheel, but once it flatten out I spun out and went backwards. I wasn’t too worried because when it went up again I pull everybody back. But then my seat fell off and my tire went flat. So the third lap took longer then the first two and the fourth was my own personal hell to the finish in 102deg heat. But it’s all good.

You wouldn't believe the snow on top the pass. People are still skiing up there. I thinking about pulling the skis out next weekend and given’r a go……Now where did I put that espresso?

Mr Bigg on tour....

Went to the MSC race and smoked myself...Why would someone pay $50.00 to have the crap kick out of himself for 3 hours?

Funny Stuff

I lifted this off “Prostuff” they've got some funny stuff on that site….

“So, if you are new to 'The Game' or just not in the know I have put together a list of things that just crack me; some on the bike, some off; some at races, some not:
· Don't wear your riding glasses as casual glasses….. I don't care if they are prescription. You look like a total dork.
· Don't wear your casual glasses as riding ones.
· Don't wear mis-matched socks on the bike (or ever) to show how much of a non-conformist you are. I have known so many guys who go through this faze….believe me it will pass and you will never see Scott Moninger with socks that don't match.
· Don't be that guy who's "thing" it is to always wear shoe covers….. it is way to mid-west (not to put those guys down but I have seen it out there more than anywhere).
· Don't wear a cycling cap as your casual cap…. There is no way chicks will dig it.
· Don't wear your long sleeve jersey as a jacket when you are out in public, at races or ever…. So tacky.
· Don't wear your jersey with jeans when you drive to and from races. OK, every once and a while (but not that often) it is easiest to get your kit on at home instead of changing at the race but that is it.
· Don't wear your team socks with your Tevas or flip-flops outside of being at a race.
· Keep in mind after a race that the one super crazy, gnarly thing that happened just after that one corner probably wasn't nearly as gnarly as you remember it to be and if it didn't happen you still probably wouldn't have won the race.
· Don't eat your Cliff Bars as off the bike snacks…. They are strictly business food.
· You can't sprint like Greg Henderson or climb like Phil Zijaeck.
· Don't' wear cut open team socks as shoe covers, use something that was made for the job.
· Don't' yell at your girlfriend in the feed zone because you got a mix and not Coke. Just be happy that she is there, it won't affect how you do in the race.
· Don't attack the groupetto. You have already been dropped so just let it go.
· Don't sprint for the line if you are out of the top 20.”

The last one all ways kills me……..

Options that what I like.....

So the big dilemma is should I do nothing this weekend, take Mr. Bigg to the Teva Games, go over the Trash Masher, go to the front range of a crit or just ride around GWS…..I think I’ll opt for “A” do nothing…….

O-yea I almost forgot to post up the new “MM” sexual harassment policy. Please read it carefully, take a look at the fine print and learn it from top to bottom or should I say side to side!
